12–13 May 2014
Doug Tangren works on patience and platform at Meetup and is a co-organizer of the New York Scala Enthusiasts. An open advocate for exploratory programming and contributor to a number of Scala libraries and sbt plugins.
Jon–Anders Teigen is an experienced Scala and Java software developer. As an active and long time member of the Scala community, he is a frequent speaker at events and conferences, and has contributed to a range of open source Scala projects.
Jon–Anders is the co–founder of scalaBin – “The Norwegian Scala User Group”, and Oslo Socially Functional – A meetup for functional programmers.
The workshop will be a code-along demonstration of how to get started with SBT. We'll start from scratch with a simple project and evolve it step-by-step to a multi-module webapplication with cross-compilation, testing, fat-jar assembly code generation and more.
